NOTES:
Alexa is a Heimdall class starship that was designed for deep range cargo hauling and passanger transport, by Midgard Aerospace Inc., a Dutch starship construction firm that went bankrupt in 2217. Alexa first put to sea in 2186 under the name E.S.S. Beauty and has changed a dozen hands and names since then. Moffballed for scrap in 2232, she sat on a Proxima "Bone Yard" until she was purchased by former EarthForce captain Roger "Hairy" Larcombe, who got the ship for a song (2 million credits), in 2249 upon his retirement from EarthForce after the war. Mortgaging everything he had to rebuild and refurbish the ALEXA, wich was named after his daughter, Captain Larcombe started his own transport firm and left Earth behind. Following the death of his wife after an accident, Captain Larcombe continues to pilot the Alexa on the far fringes of space but hasn't really been the same since. He is dogged by creditors and often takes jobs that no one else would risk taking, spending every credit earned to keep Alexa flying, keep is daughter in school, and keep the vultures off his back.
The Heimdall class starships were built in an era when Hyperspace flight was in its infancy and the dangers of transporting goods through space was much higher then it is today. As such, these ships were built with much thicker and more heavily armored hulls than those found on commercial transports seen flying the spaceways in 2257 and are still genreally considered the best ships of their day. Unfortunately, like most smaller starship construction firms of the last century, Midguard Aerospace was driven into bankruptcy by the government backed Mega-Corp Karmatech LTD. For this reason it can be very difficult to find replacement parts compatible with the Heimdall's systems.
Since purchasing this Heimdall class starship, Captain Larcombe has refitted her from stem to stern. Alexa's four modular cargo containers have been replaced with hard-mount carbon/plasteel cargo bays, afixed to either port and starboard, which give her the ability to haul up to 2,750 cubic meters of cargo. Her electroncis, navigation, and avionic system have been completely replaced. She still has her three original fusion drives with six external isopte fuel tanks in the aft section. Gone is the armor plate that used to cover the fuel tanks, to reduce weight. Atmospheric thrusters along the ventral surface have been completely rebuilt and the outer, multi-vector jet engines for atmospheric landings have been replaced with new GF90-75B plasma-jets. With this kind of thrust, the 6,310.7 tonne Alexa can safely take off or land 3 million tonnes of cargo to a 1.0 Gravity environment.
Ship defensive systems include two Plasma-Gun turrets mounted near the engineering junction that connects the Plasma Jets to the main hull, as well as one twin pulse-laser above the habitat section and one rail-gun turret fore of the main cargo bay doors. At its thickest, the main hull is 60 centimeters (around the main engines) and at its thinnest the main hull is 30 centimeters thick. The ship's framework is comprised of Plasteel with alloy re-enforced hardpoints. The original hull is comprised of a composite plasteel which was then covered in a layer of zero-g super alloy made primarily of titanium, which was further encased in a polished military grade Berylium/Carbon alloy shell. The new cargo containers are made of Plasteel, with an out layer of Carbon material - not as strong as the main hull but capable of withstanding a signficant ammount of heat.

NOTES:
The Verrator is a modified Valeron class transport/freighter, about the same size as a 20th century DC-10. Verrator has six fusion engines for space/atmospheric maneuvers and has been modified as a blockade runner. To this end, she has also been fitted with superior sensors and has better handling then most other Skylark type ships. Verrator can out-run most fighter craft vessels and, in the past, has out-paced Starfury, Frazi, and Sentri class fighters. Rumor has it that the Verrator is often seen used by Smugglers and Bounty Hunters operating along the Narn/Centauri border. Known armaments include two pulse-lasers and two plasma-gun turrets along the dorsal and ventral hull.

NOTES:
The Titan class Cargo Ship has become the mainstay of most Earth Alliance Mega-Corps and large cargo transporting firms. These modular vessels have the ability to conntect several fuel and cargo containers to the ship's main body, which consits of a saucer shaped command and control section and engine assembly. The Carpo XLVI is owned by the Earth Alliance Mega Corporation "Jovian Transport and Shipping" and, while, poorly armed, she is fitted with two pulse-cannon turrets that can be deployed from out to either port and starboard of the ship's saucer. Designed for heavy cargo transportation, the ship is slow but sturdy and capable of hauling more than any ship used by the indipendents. Carpo's presence in Sector 900 has a great many of the indipendent truckers worried, as she represents how Earth Alliance Mega-Corps are spready faster than the Alliance, her laws, and her protections.

NOTES:
The Ma'Adim is a Dasor class ship that has been modified for both mercenary work, bounty hunting, and illegal smuggling. While she has extremely limited atmospheric capablities, in open space she is incredibly fast thanks to her four BB9K particle thrust engines and one high-output plasma jet. This, combined with her low visual profile, makes her hard to hit in a chase. Weapons include two pulse-lasers and two quad-battery pulse turrets along the dorsal and ventral hull, which are MUCH more powerful than those used by most other Skylark type ships. In the past year Ma'Adim has brought in three bounties to the Drazi Freehold but rumors suggest they've actually helped fugitives from Earth Alliance escape! While she and her crew have been arrested several times on smuggling charges, none of these charges have stuck and Ma'Adim continues to fly the fronteer of Earth held space.

NOTES:
This atmospheric capable ship is quick, but her primary advantage over other transports is agility, both in space and in atmospher. Regarded as the best atmospheric model to come out of EEDS Starships, she is capable of supporting a crew of 15, though the quarters are cramped. Argent Steed was co-owned by former EarthForce soldiers Charles "New Buck" Jones and Thomas Mix, who began their own shipping business in 2251. According to Earth Alliance records, Argent Steed was modified with a re-enforced cockpit, armed with two old pulse lasers and and two antiquated bolter turrets along her hull. Up until January 2257 she'd been seen ferrying cargo between Sector 700 and Sector 800 but co-owner Tom Mix was reported to have suffered a clinical breakdown of some sort, stole the ship, and vanished into hyperspace. Mr. Mix and the Argent Steed are both presumed lost.

NOTES:
OCG-217 is the third ship in the heroic lineage of ships christened Tigerclaw. The first two Tigerclaws were an Avenger class Carrier which was followed by a Hyperion class Heavy Cruiser. Both ships were lost in battle, the former during the Kollonis conflict the latter in the Earth/Minbari War. Tigerclaw's commanding officer, Captain Alexander Lightburn, is one of the most decorated pilots form the Earth/Minbari War and one of only seven survivors of the destruction of the Hyperion varriant of the Tigerclaw, which was destroyed two weeks before the "Battle of the Line."

NOTES:
A relic of the Dilgar War, the EAS Fallkirk is one of the oldest Hyperions currently active in the Earthforce fleet registry. Assignment to the Fallkirk is considered, by the bulk of the Earthforce Officer’s corp., to be the death nil to any military career. Presently the Fallkirk is under the Command of Captain Robert Drake, the officer reputed for losing Babylon 5 to the Minbari, after Captain John J. Sheridan announced the independent status of the famous space station.

NOTES:
The EAS Titans is one of the newest ships in the Earthforce Navy. An advanced Heavy Destroyer belonging to the infamous Warlock class, the Titans was the second Warlock to roll off the Rocketdyne assembly lines. Currently under the command of Captain Susan Ivanova, a stern officer who played key roles in both the Shadow War and the Earth Civil War, the Titans and her crew have gained a distinct reputation for their ability to diffuse hostile situations quickly and with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
