S5 Investigating the Drakh: Lets act stupid

As much as I love B5 season 5 was certainly the weakest.
Some thing that really stood out for me was the main b5 characters giving up on following up the Shadow technology

Deleen: isn’t there a way we can follow up on this

Sheridan: No Londo says the regent bought these on the black market, maybe that’s true maybe it isn’t , either way it dead ends out investigation

Franklin said, "We know the Shadows had hundreds of allies

(4th wall break)

Garibadli: Why can’t investigate the if its true or not, trace the black market suppliers or even try to find out what the shadow allies are doing

Sheridan: Because we only have 4 eps left

Lyta: We could always say we are going to do it, but do it off screen. We never show the telepath war and I even get killed in it……..that is so not cool

(Random fan jumps into the scene )Fan: Didn’t you have the time jump into the future and learned of the shadow allies on Centari Prime. You learned about the shadow tech being involved why wouldn’t you investigate

The one ep i could really remember was "Endgame"

great ep to watch through, lots of cool action, sheridans speech 'WE HAVE COME HOME'
and RAMMING SPEED!

I was somewhat surprised that Lyta when she could not find offical work didn't go

"Hey i saved you asses.... again , now here is the invoice "

the membari telepaths get provided for by their culture but not poor Lyta


Its only ab out a year ago i actually got a copy and watched it start to finish

Dam its an awersome show, if only more scifi, helll even more tv series was as good a this

Yeah, Season 5 had a LOT of serious and fundamental problems. It really was all the bit stories that were supposed to have been of little consequence during the Shadow War and Earth Civil War. But with TNT procrastinating, JMS had to take Season 4 and 5 and squeeze them together into one year, leaving only the "leftovers" for later.

I don't think Babylon 5 ever recovered from that.
