SIZE: MINBARI WAR-CRUISER.

IV. CONCLUSION:

Based on the figures seen above, we can assert with some confidence that the Sharlin is between 1,749 and 1,524 meters in length, or approximately one mile.

In the image to the right, we can see the Sharlin shown in a montage of wrong sizes. From top to bottom we have:

  • Incorrect AOG figure - 150 m.
  • ITB Window error - 200 m.
  • Legacies screen shot - 300 m.
  • Recognition Chart - 1055 m.

and in the end we have what would appear to be the truth of the matter.. the Minbari Sharlin class War-Cruiser shown at 1,600 meters.

Despite all the size errors and inconsistencies seen in the series due to a solid figure having never been given to the War-Cruiser, the average length of the Minbari Sharlin would most definitely appear to be approximately 1,600 meters +/- 100 meters. When one removes all the size errors, technical glitches, CGI artist cock-ups and poor foresight by the creator and production staff, the Sharlin ultimately comes out to be the asserted figure of approximately 1,600 meters, or one mile in length. Anyone who tells you otherwise (save for Tim Earls) is blowing plasma up your exhaust pipe.
